- An area of especial interest to me regards the relative high level of acceptance of extreme and so called 'deviant' sex practices as well as pornography - in what are also the lowest crime rate and highest egalitarian standard of living societies and cultures in the world (of which the great "richest country in the world" U.S.A. does not qualify among by any number of means and examples) -

These things and more to be coming here when I am able. I have MUCH more to add regarding Christian Control and the Word Faith movement, with its teachings that being sick and poor are in the realm of sin - this movement of non-denominational Christianity now dominating televangelism so uncannily backs up republican agendas right down to the most egregious belief being pushed that people simply do not even NEED health insurance because if they are good enough Christians and possess the right 'faith' they should not be getting sick - And how anyone fails to recognize how incredibly the contemporary Christian movements in the U.S.A. are paralleling republican agendas, is simply beyond me.

reply from Venezuelian correspondent

...Yes, there are many people who are against the government for many interests: political, economic, etc.
Others are deceived by the media and remain in ignorance. For example, currently has had rationalization of electricity, since electrical power here works with rivers and reservoirs are very low by drought and the phenomenon of "Niño". However, in the media say it is because of government mismanagement. Another example, have been the expropriation of businesses which note that prices and hoarding and speculating with commodities. These companies were purchased by the government, in mutual agreement with the owners. While the private media reported that the owners and employees were evacuated from their post, which is completely false. Be careful not to be deceived. Not to defend the government but I am realistic and I'm really angry injustice.

  1. Electricity rationing is nothing more than a symptom of Chavez' ineptitude and mismanagement. I would like to know about the recent arrival of Cuban former Minister of the Interior who knows nothing about electricity and a lot about repression. Is he going to show the Chavez regime how they silence dissidents in Cuba? The mere mention of his name in Cuba make people cringe and now he is in Venezuela. Explain that.
No matter how you try to mask it, Cuba and Venezuela are examples of gross failures of a system that is bad for the people and bad for individual freedom.

  2. Please don't say that these companies were purchased by the government. They were simply expropriated and the owners were thrown out, not like you say it is false...it is the truth, perhaps you better explain how you are an agent of the totalitarian Chavez regime. You are a fraud.
